Julie, Anna and I are moving to Burlington, VT. I've recently accepted a position as a Java developer at Burton Snowboards. So we will be moving once again.

I passed the Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform 1.4 exam this morning. With Anna's arrival, I wasn't able to study as much as I would have liked, but I was able to pass the test on my first try so I am happy about that.
I've been pretty lazy about getting around to taking the exam. Actually, my exam voucher was set to expire this coming Monday, so I kind of waited until the last minute!

There's another addition to the Wahlin household. Anna Juliette Wahlin was born at 8:45am Saturday, August 7th. She was 6lbs.12oz. and 19". Both Julie and Anna are doing great and will be coming home from the hospital later today.

There's going to be a new edition to the Wahlin household (New Hampshire chapter). Yep, Julie's got one in the oven. I'm going to be a daddy for the first time. Due date is around August 24, 2004. Julie had a doppler sonogram two weeks ago and we were able to hear the heart beat (@160 bpm) for the first time.

Ok, it's official. I'm a college grad...again. I've finished my last class to get my Master's degree in Software Engineering at Brandeis University. Unfortunately, now I have no excuse preventing me from working on the house.

In case you haven't noticed, I've been re-designing the site lately. It's been a while since the last redesign and I wanted to add some useful functionality to the site. I hope to make additions each week (in particular I hope to keep this blog updated on a "semi-regular" basis.) Look for a photos section to develop over the next couple of weeks, escpecially, since I made my way into the 21st century by finally buying a digital camera (Canon S45). Yep, last one on the block. Now that I have it though, I can't believe I was able to live without it. Oh, and I almost forgot... look ma' no tables!
